Fall Vegetable Painting

Use the Colorful Harvest of Fall


Read: "Why do Leaves Change Color?" by Betsy Maestro and Loretta Krupinski


Materials needed: Fall vegetables: Indian corn, squash, pumpkin, zucchini, peppers, paint, paper plates, leaves.


Directions: Place at least 3 different fall colors on separate plates.
Cut out large pumpkins. Have children experiment with rolling, or pressing the vegetable in to the paint, and then on to the pumpkin. Add leaves to the top of the pumpkin.
