There’s a Monster Under my Bed

Read: “Go To Sleep Little Monster” by Kally Mayer and Faria A.

Sometimes little ones have some difficulty falling asleep at night and are afraid of the dark. Sometimes it is not easy for your child to stop himself from imagining all sorts of things "That Bump in the Night"

Rhyme: Tucked up Tight by Debbie Hasbrook M.Ed.

Materials needed: construction paper, white paper, paper bag, markers, wiggly eyes, ric rac and glue.

Directions: After reading “Go to Sleep Little Monster” have the children draw their own little monster. Have them tell you about their monster and write it down. Make a frame with the piece of construction paper.

Using the paper bag, wiggly eyes, construction paper, ribbons and other ric rack to make their monster puppet.
