Why Do We Wear Sunscreen?

Here is a plain black piece of construction paper.

Add sunscreen to half.

Make sure to rub it in good, Then let it sit in the sun all day.

At the end of the day check out what the sunscreen did. The sun damaged and faded the side with out the sunscreen. The other side is still full of color!

When we don't wear sunscreen the sun damages our skin. We can see some types of damage such as Sunburns but it can also cause damage that we can not see right away, such as skin cancer. Remember to wear your sunscreen and stay hydrated.
