Paper Towel Experiment

Mixing Colors Science Project:
Here is what you will need:  3 clear glasses, water, 2 different colors of food coloring (blue and yellow work very well) and a paper towel.

1.  Pour water into 2 glasses.

2.  Put several drops of food coloring into each water filled glass.

3.  Tear paper towel in half and fold it into 2 long strips.

4.  Put each paper towel into 1 cup so that half is in the water and the other half is in the empty cup in the middle.

5.  Wait, wait, wait and watch watch what happens!

Good to know:
We tried blue and red food coloring but the effect wasn't as good as using yellow and blue.
