Fall Tree

Take children outside to collect leaves to make their own fall tree. Bring the leaves inside and allow them to dry if they are wet. Have children cut a trunk for their tree out of brown construction paper and glue a piece a paper on the top of the trunk. Using the leaves that they collected outside, have children glue them to the piece of paper to make their very own tree.

Appropriate for 2’s and up.  Nature Learning style (collect leaves), Science (seasons), Math & Logic (how many, how may fit) The Fall of Freddie the Leaf: A Story of Life for All Ages by Leo Buscaglia
